Design and Performance
Exceptional Handling: The 315HT, with its 23-degree dead-rise, is built to effortlessly cross wave tops, ensuring a responsive and dry ride in various sea conditions.
Comfortable Accommodations: The layout mirrors the popular 285HT, sleeping three comfortably with a separate, private head and a spacious three-quarter beam athwartship aft berth for easy access.
Impressive Capability: Twin 300HP YAMAHA outboards propel the 315HT to a top speed of around 59MPH. The hull, optimized for quick planing, balances speed and efficiency, boasting a useable fuel capacity of 316 gallons for over 500 miles of range.
Ample Fuel and Range: Increased fuel capacity to 316 gallons extends your cruising and fishing horizon.
Enhanced Fish-ability: Removal of the L-Shape Settee in the pilothouse maximizes space, aiding quick movement during fishing activities.
Comfort and Storage: Ample seating aft of the Helm and Companion Seats, along with a standard pull-out refrigerator drawer, ensures comfort and convenience on your voyages.
Cockpit Functionality: The lengthened cockpit includes larger macerated in-deck fish boxes and a full transom with two live wells, enhancing your fishing experience.
Entry and Exit Ease: Features like the port side Tuna Door and large walk-through Transom Door add practicality, especially for big catches or swimmers.
Versatile Use: Ideal for both serious fishing expeditions and cruising, the 315HT blends traditional Downeast New England style with modern technology.
Spacious Interior: Sleeps three with an aft berth suitable for junior anglers or a family expedition, without sacrificing space for gear and comfort.
Elegant Finishes: Standard below-deck wooden drawer faces and Head Door with wood veneer exemplify the yacht-finished interior, elevating the onboard experience.
Jose DaPonte, the owner of NorthCoast Boats, highlights the 315HT’s design inspiration from the 285HT hull form, emphasizing its open cockpit layout and increased fishing and cruising amenities. The 315HT is designed for those who seek exceptional performance without the unnecessary frills, offering more boat for the money with a comfortable, dry ride.
Robust Construction: ‘No wood’ construction with a 12-year structural hull warranty ensures long-lasting durability and safety.
Pilothouse and Cabin Features: Custom fiberglass windshield frame, LED lighting, TODD Ladder back helm seats, and optional Sea Deck material enhance the pilothouse and cabin experience.
Cockpit Amenities: Kenyon Cockpit Grill, molded sink with tackle boxes, and live wells equip the cockpit for serious fishing adventures.
Customize your 315HT with options including hull color, bow thruster, air conditioning, generator, and more to tailor the boat to your specific needs and style.

NorthCoast Story
Jose C. DaPonte, the President and Owner of C&C Marine has built his life around building quality boats since the early 1970’s. Joe is one of the foremost, innovative, authorities in composite boat building and tool making. His passion for the sea is founded in his Portuguese heritage. He loves to work, his family works beside him daily, building better boats everyday, and during the summer months they can be found fishing on them after hours.
RUGGED | VERSATILE | FISHING FIRST
Joe decided to locate the production facility in the boat building capital of New England- Bristol, Rhode Island. We test, commission new models, train Dealers and new Boats Owners on beautiful Narragansett Bay, home of Herreschoff Marine Museum, historic Newport, and only a short ride to the incredible fishing grounds of Rhode Island Sound.
NorthCoast Boats is owned and built by C&C Marine and C&C Fiberglass, Inc. C&C Marine is a premier boat builder producing high quality fishing and recreational boats. During the nineties they were the builder behind the scenes for Dick Lema, (noted designer and previous Lema brand Owner). In 2000 the opportunity presented itself to purchase the NorthCoast Boats brand name and hull molds. Joe’s love for the stout lines and excellent performance of NorthCoast Boats was all it took for him to want to steward the brand forward. We honor our commitment to build quality fishing boats. We use them and we fish them so that we are confident that our valued customers cannot own a better built boat.
Note: J-Boats, and others, continue to rely upon C&C Marine for molded hulls and decks of their select high end models for exceptional quality every time.
